Global Shapers

MILAN HUB

Born out of the World Economic Forum in 2011, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges in order to create a global movement of young leaders making positive change in their communities.

The Community currently has over 500 hubs worldwide, with a total of more than 11,000 shapers, all united by the desire to achieve something significant for current and future generations.

In each city, teams of Shapers create projects that address the needs of their community, and the projects are wide-ranging and diverse – from raising awareness about sustainability and addressing mental health issues to combating climate change and building inclusive communities. Shapers differ in skills, education, and ideas but are united by their desire to drive change.

The Milan Hub

Founded in 2012, our Hub was one of the first to join the global community. Over the years, we’ve launched many projects, making a lasting impact on Milan and the communities we’ve worked with. We’re not just a place for action; we’re a hub for young people to connect, exchange ideas, and collaborate across different backgrounds.

We share a common vision: to make the GSC Milan Hub the go-to platform for connecting innovators and amplifying the voices of youth. Our projects center on developing young leaders, building a strong network through impactful events, and fostering positive change in society by teaming up with local associations and NGOs.
